We created this site, not as mega fans ourselves, but as normal people. The site’s name, “Michael Jackson to Me” was meant to suggest that like any artist, Michael meant different things to each of us. Who is he to you? How has he fit into the fabric of your own life? These are the questions we want to answer! We believe everyone, no matter who they are, was affected by the life and music of Michael Jackson. As the King of Pop he reached more people than perhaps any other performer in the world.
This site was created as a place for everyone to send in their memories of Michael.

In your e-mail you can tell your own story. If you’d like we will post it anonymously for you, as well. You can send us anything at all that relates to your experience as a fan, videos you or someone else has made, your memories, you could send photos, artworks, anything at all that you would like to share (and no, we do not ever take control of your work – we only publish it on this website). Or maybe you know a cool poem, video or image you think we should show people – let us know about it!
When we built this website, we made a few promises to ourselves and those of you who visit us.
Here are those promises:
We will post any e-mail whether it is good, bad or purely neutral because everyone deserves to have their voice heard.
We will post any fan pictures or artwork sent to us and YOU will keep their copyright, we will not use these images for anything other than posting as you have asked us to.
This site will stay up for as long as we can afford to keep it and if there comes a time that we cannot afford to keep it we will pass it on to a fan who promises to keep it going for as long as possible.
When you send us a memory, we will not edit it in any way (including offensive language) if we choose to accept it.
We will never sell or share your email address that you have trusted us with.
While we do not claim to be the ultimate or most hardcore fans of Michael Jackson’s music, we do admire his amazing skill and incredible ability to perform music people love. We chose to build this site because it is what we would want done for our favorite celebrities if they passed away.
